Abbey Clancy’s Breast Cancer Care Lingerie Photoshoot – the 28-year old model has been helping raise funds and awareness for the Breast Cancer Care charity.

Abbey launched the new Ultimo lingerie range called Mollie today with all items available in the distinctive pink colours used by the charity.

All throughout the month of October £1 from the sale of each item will direct to Breast Cancer Care. The new range is reasonably priced at just  £24 for the bra and £12 for the matching knickers.

Ultimo founder Michelle Mone said at the launch: ‘Ultimo is all about celebrating women, so we felt it important to get behind Breast Cancer Awareness month and do something special for a hugely worthy cause. Breast Cancer Care is the only UK-wide support charity that helps the thousands of women waking up to the harsh reality of breast cancer every day.’

The range is designed to show off a woman’s cleavage to best effect with Michelle Mone explaining: ‘The One’ bra cup features a secret sling that works to remove the “double boob” effect, creating a beautifully rounded and natural-looking cleavage.’

Strictly Champ Abbey’s Sexy Photo Shoot – last year’s Strictly Come Dancing winner Abbey Clancy is featured in a new sexy set of photos for Rollercoaster magazine that she says made her feel like “a pervert.”

The attractive 28-year old mother of one has admitted that she is finding it very hard not to be competing in the current series of the dance programme and was seen in a final dance on the show last week as she helped launch the new series.

Abbey was just seen making a big impression as she sat on the front row of another former Strictly competitors London Fashion Week show. She wore a very revealing sheer black dress ( with little or nothing underneath) as she supported Julian Macdonald on day 2 of London Fashion Week as he presented his Spring/Summer 2015 collection.

The Rollercoaster interview shows that it t seemed hard to get Abbey to talk about anything but Strictly as she admitted her friends were telling her that she had become obsessed with the show.

‘I became so obsessed with it and so caught up in the Strictly bubble, that all my friends thought I was a complete psycho.’

Daisy Lowe’s Ice Bucket Challenge Turns Into Wet T-Shirt Contest – there have been a huge number of celebrities getting involved in the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge in recent weeks but we think Daisy Lowe’s attempt is probably the sauciest.

The ALS Ice Bucket Challenge has been launched to raise awareness of amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) which is better known as MND or motor neurone disease in the UK or Lou Gehrig’s disease in the US. As well as raising awareness a lot of new funds have also been raised for the ALS Association.

There have been several forms of challenge issued with some people being dared to be filmed tipping a bucket of ice water over themselves and if they failed in this having to make a donation of $100 to the ALS Association. As can be seen most celebrities have enjoyed the chance to get some publicity for both the disease and themselves. The biggest name to refuse to be filmed tipping an ice bucket of water over themselves is US President Barack Obama who opted instead to make a donation to the charity.

Abbey Clancy Models New Ultimo Bridal Lingerie Collection – the 28-year old is clearly going to make the most of all the exposure she has gained by winning the Strictly Come Dancing crown last December and her latest venture sees her modelling a sexy new bridal collection for lingerie company Ultimo.

Abbey has already modelled one collection for Ultimo since being signed up as their latest model during her Strictly run last year. That first collection featured mostly darker styles so this new bridal collection is about as different an assignment as she is likely to see whilst modelling lingerie.

As with most bridal lingerie collections the focus is on white, sexy items with corsets, french knickers and stockings and garter belts. And just to make sure the famous bridal dressing rules are followed on the big day the lingerie collections all also feature a very subtle “something blue” detailing.

The Ultimo deal is one of the best things to come out of Abbey’s Strictly experience as she is reportedly earning around £250k for being the “face and body” of the lingerie brand.

She replaced Michael Buble’s wife, the Argentine actress and model Luisana Lopilato, as the figurehead for the Ultimo advertising campaigns. Luisana and Michael welcomed their first child back in August last year so the time was right for her to take a break from the world of modelling for a while.

Abbey Clancy Has Nipslip Wardrobe Malfunction At London Fashion Week Show – the model and Strictly winner ensured more eyes were on the audience than the catwalk with the outfit she wore to a London Fashion Week show.

Abbey had turned out to support her friend and  fellow Strictly competitor designer Julien Macdonald at the LFW show to launch his 2014 Autumn/Winter Collection.

The 28-year old Liverpudlian model wore a very revealing black and gold outfit designed by Macdonald that featured see-through panels that exposed her thighs and stomach area. However it was the top half of the dress that was to prove Abbey’s undoing as the flimsy material that made up what little dress there was on top slipped to expose her nipple.

Unlike many of the well-known faces on the front row of the show this was not the first time she had been exposed in front of the cameras but it was quite possibly the first time that she had not planned it in advance.

As well as Abbey Julien Macdonald had a number of other celebrities on the front row of his show including Millie Mackintosh from Made In Chelsea, singer Eliza Doolittle, actress Samantha Barks, Strictly professional Kristina Rihanoff  and tv presenter Zara Martin.

NTAs 2014, The Winners and Who Was Hot and Who Was Not On The Red Carpet – apart from last night’s wardrobe malfunction from Kelly Brook there were a lot of things going on at the National Television Awards.

The least surprising part of the night came with Ant and Dec winning the Best Entertainment Presenter prize for the 13th year running but even they were shocked when they also picked up an NTA Landmark Award which also saw them receive a letter from the heir to the throne, Prince Charles.

As was only right and proper the new award of Best TV Detective went to Benedict Cumberbatch for his brilliant portrayal of the legendary detective in BBC’s Sherlock. With the NTAs being decided purely by public votes you can be sure that his fan army of Cumberbitches was out voting in force to make sure that he won.

Another topical winner was Coronation Street’s Julie Hesmondhalgh who won the Best Serial Drama Performance for her portrayal of Hayley Cropper. The character has just been involved in a moving and highly controversial story line that saw her take her own life after being diagnosed with terminal cancer. Just a couple of days ago radio dj Nicky Campbell ended up in tears live on air when a caller was discussing the ‘right to die’ debate on his programme phone-in.

It was also a good evening for Doctor Who fans as the show not only took home the award for Best Drama but also saw Matt Smith, the departing Doctor, win the Best Drama Performance award.

Our favourite talent show Strictly Come Dancing took home the Best Talent Show award beating off competition from X Factor and The Voice to crown off a very successful year for the show.

As far as the winner sand losers on the red carpet go it was another win for Strictly as the current champion Abbey Clancy won most people’s award for best dressed on the red carpet. She is still clearly benefiting from her dancing workouts and looked stunning in a long red dress. Fellow Strictly competitor Susanna Reid had a more mixed reaction to her white dress that some said made her look a little like a bridesmaid at a wedding.

Abbey Wins The 2013 Strictly Come Dancing Final – after what was acknowledged as the highest quality competition in Strictly history Abbey Clancy was tonight crowned the 2013 Strictly Come Dancing champion.

In a very good-natured final it was for once true that all 4 girls were so delighted to have made it so far in the competition that they really did not seem to mind who out of them got to lift the glitterball trophy.

Just as we all expected the standard of dancing this evening was very high and right from the start it was clear that whoever was going to win was going to have to pull out something very special indeed.

The opening dance from each couple was a choice from the judges and Abbey and Aljaz scored a maximum 40 points for their waltz to Kissing You by Des’ree. Coming just a point behind Abbey was Natalie and Artem’s Cha Cha Cha to Boney M’s Rasputin’, which gave Artem a chance to get his pecs out again.

Rounding off the first section of the final Sophie and Brendan scored 30 points for their Viennese Waltz to My Favourite Things and Susanna and Kevin scored the least points from the judges for their Quickstep danced to Good Morning from Singin In The Rain.

Next was the popular showdance section which saw Natalie score a maximum 40 points for her routine to Fred Astaire’s classic track Steppin’ Out With My Baby. Scores of 38 for Abbey, 35 for Sophie and 36 for Susanna left Susanna at the bottom of the judges scorecards at the end of the first live show but as we were told throughout the judges scores were only for guidance tonight.

Susanna Reid Is Favourite To Win This Year’s Strictly Final – the 43-year old BBC Breakfast presenter and mother of three is currently the bookie’s favourite to lift this year’s Strictly glitterball trophy.

Susanna is ahead of her 3 fellow female finalists according to the latest odds from both Paddy Power and Coral Bookmakers. Paddy Power quotes her as current favourite at odds of 6/5 and Coral is currently quoting 5/4. An insider has actually suggested that as much as 90% of all the bets placed in the last few days have gone on Susanna so this might make things fairly hard for the other 3 finalists as the winner is chosen by public votes and  the judges’ votes tomorrow are only for guidance.

Despite this many people see tomorrow night’s final as being likely to be one of the closest in Strictly history. At this stage all of the dancers are capable of pulling off series-winning performance on the night and it is genuinely all to play for on Saturday evening.

Unlike many of the recent series of Strictly the pairings have been brilliantly worked out and without exception all of the celebrities have been thrilled with the dance professional they were paired with. Likewise the professionals this year have been able to relax without having to endure many of the prima donna antics inflicted on them by celebrities in previous years.

Strictly Semi Final, Abbey and Natalie Looking Good For a Place in the Final – often on these sort of nights the hype dictates that the script will say this is the best semi final we have ever seen in this show, tonight that was actually true.

There would be little disagreement from many of the Strictly fans that between them and the judges the best 5 celebrities have made their way through to the semi final stage of series 11 of the dance competition.

Nerves looked to be running high tonight even before the couples took to the dance floor and Abbey, who is always on edge anyway, looked to be almost too nervous to come out at one stage. However if, as several sources reported before tonight’s semi, Abbey was indeed ‘terrified’ then she used that anxiety of hers to pull off her best performances of the series so far.

First on the floor tonight though was Natalie Gumede who it has to be said has not looked overawed by the show in the least. This might however go a little way to explain why she is not perhaps so popular with the public as her performances should have made her. The Strictly fans always like a few stumbles early on from their celebrities and enjoy the whole ‘journey’ from having 2 left feet to being a very good dancer.

Natalie and Artem started the show off with a brilliant Salsa to Michael Jackson’s Wanna Be Startin’ Somethin’ which was full of great moves and was so slick and exciting that even Craig had to bring out that dusty old 10 paddle of his. As is nearly always the case when you spot a 10 from Craig you can be fairly sure that the rest of the judges will be joining him and so it was tonight and Natalie and Artem started the semi final off with a brilliant maximum 40 points.

Somewhat surprisingly Artem revealed this was actually his first 40 point score in his 4 years on the show. Although he won Series 8 of Strictly in 2010, his first time on the show, he and partner Kara Tointon only ever managed a score of 39 points.

 

Strictly Come Dancing Week 11, The Quarter FInals Stage – What’s Hot and What’s Trending 7 December 2013

Strictly Come Dancing Week 11, The Quarter FInals Stage – tonight saw this year’s Strictly series go into an even more serious mode and it must be said that the show was not necessarily the better for it.

Standards overall did not hit the levels of the last couple of weeks and the pressure looked like it was starting to tell on some of the celebrities. In some of the earlier series there were a number of celebrities who were struggling with injuries at this stage of the competition but this year it looks like most of the injury problems have hit the pairs during the earlier rounds of the show.

As far as tonight’s main dance went the winners in the studio this week were Abbey Clancy and her partner Aljaz who scored a total of 37 points from the judges for their Viennese Waltz, which they danced to Tom Jones’ Delilah.

For the normally flawless Natalie Gumede it was more of a mixed week as she received some critical comments from the judging panel who noticed that as well as a small slip in her routine she also lacked a little contact between her and partner Artem in their Paso Doble. Dancing to the classic Paso track El Gato Montes Natalie and Artem their routine scored 35 points from the judges and it was the first time since their Samba way back in Week 5 that they failed to see a 10 paddle from any of the judges.
