Abbey Clancy Has Nipslip Wardrobe Malfunction At London Fashion Week Show – the model and Strictly winner ensured more eyes were on the audience than the catwalk with the outfit she wore to a London Fashion Week show.
Abbey had turned out to support her friend and fellow Strictly competitor designer Julien Macdonald at the LFW show to launch his 2014 Autumn/Winter Collection.
The 28-year old Liverpudlian model wore a very revealing black and gold outfit designed by Macdonald that featured see-through panels that exposed her thighs and stomach area. However it was the top half of the dress that was to prove Abbey’s undoing as the flimsy material that made up what little dress there was on top slipped to expose her nipple.
Unlike many of the well-known faces on the front row of the show this was not the first time she had been exposed in front of the cameras but it was quite possibly the first time that she had not planned it in advance.
As well as Abbey Julien Macdonald had a number of other celebrities on the front row of his show including Millie Mackintosh from Made In Chelsea, singer Eliza Doolittle, actress Samantha Barks, Strictly professional Kristina Rihanoff and tv presenter Zara Martin.
It has been a busy few days for Abbey as this weekend she appeared on the Jonathan Ross Show where she was quizzed about what went on backstage and off-camera during the last series of Strictly Come Dancing. Despite the inevitable rumours when Abbey was paired with attractive new dancer Aljaz she insisted that there was nothing going on. She had previously spoken about thinking of the handsome Slovenian as more of a brother than anything else.
Abbey also told Jonathan that she had been hoping to be partnered with Robin Windsor as not only did she get on very well with him during the early days of training but she knew that being paired with an openly gay professional would put a stop to any rumours of romance. It seems that Robin was very much in demand this last series as Ben Cohen has also said that he was quite hoping to be partnered with Robin as he felt that this might break down some stereotypes.
As well as confirming that she had no romance with her dance partner Abbey also said that there in fact no romances at all during this last series of Strictly. ‘I know what went on and he knows what went on, so it’s not like that, you’re just learning to dance. Nobody got off with anyone.’
