Abbey launched the new Ultimo lingerie range called Mollie today with all items available in the distinctive pink colours used by the charity.
All throughout the month of October £1 from the sale of each item will direct to Breast Cancer Care. The new range is reasonably priced at just £24 for the bra and £12 for the matching knickers.
Ultimo founder Michelle Mone said at the launch: ‘Ultimo is all about celebrating women, so we felt it important to get behind Breast Cancer Awareness month and do something special for a hugely worthy cause. Breast Cancer Care is the only UK-wide support charity that helps the thousands of women waking up to the harsh reality of breast cancer every day.’
The range is designed to show off a woman’s cleavage to best effect with Michelle Mone explaining: ‘The One’ bra cup features a secret sling that works to remove the “double boob” effect, creating a beautifully rounded and natural-looking cleavage.’
Strictly winner Abbey has recently been talking to Grazia magazine about her lingerie fetish and how she only discovered her liking for underwear relatively late. I only got my first bra when I was about 16 – I was still in thermal vests up until then, I was completely flat chested. Then all of a sudden I grew these humongous breasts.’
Now attractive as Abbey is we would have to disagree with the “humongous breasts” remark. You only have to search these pages for the likes of Sofia Vergara and Dolly Parton to realise that Abbey is a long way short of these particular ladies when it comes to “humongous breasts.”
It seems that after Abbey’s success in the last series of Strictly Come Dancing we will soon be seeing her put through her paces in another BBC reality show. The model has just finished filming for the special celebrity series of Great British Bake Off which ties in with this year’s Comic Relief fundraising efforts.
The GBBO Comic Relief special was filmed at the historic Valentines Mansion in Ilford, Essex and will also feature Gok Wan and Jonathan Ross competing against Abbey to lift the celebrity baking trophy. The show is due to be aired on BBC1 early in 2015.
