She appears in variety of revealing photos in the latest edition of Interview magazine. These include one photo where she is wearing a corset with both breast exposed and her nipples clearly on show. The 56-year old is clearly proud that she is still in great shape and as you might expect from the woman who brought you the controversial book “Sex” she is happy to show everyone exactly how good she looks.
The photos in the December/January edition of Interview magazine have resulted in lots of people going their opinion as to whether a 56-year old woman should be posing topless. Singer Annie Lennox was appearing on UK daytime show Loose Women earlier this week and both she and Janet Street Porter described the photos as being “attention seeking.” Well we have to say that there seems to be a short list of reasons why somebody as famous as Madonna would pose nude and right at the top you would be likely to find the reason that she is looking for attention.
Annie Lennox, who will herself be 60 later this month, did admit to having taken “things off occasionally” herself and said that she didn’t think that it was down to her to judge the singer. She has previously spoken out about how those in the music business have used their sexuality to sell their music and described this as “a devaluation of women.”
In the Interview magazine article Madonna describes how when it comes to drug use she has “tried everything once” although she is not a fan now saying that “ultimately they kill you.”
She also reveals something of a preoccupation with the subject of death. “I became very obsessed with death, and the idea that you never know when death will arrive, so one has to do as much as possible all the time to get the most out of life. That would be a motivating force. And death was a big part of my life growing up. I went to lots of funerals.”
The article covers Madonna’s thoughts on many other subjects including her career, finding musical inspiration, good and evil, failure and also why she thinks that the most important career is prostitution.
You will also find plenty of other photos of Madonna in the Dec/Jan edition of Interview, all taken by the creative team of Mert Alass and Marcus Piggott.
