They were clearly the least impressive during last night’s live show and it seems that for once the tv audience was watching the same show as the judges. First to be told he was in the dance-off was Dave and after a rather dodgy sounding performance from a little-known group called the Tenors we returned to find out that his pal Mark Benton was joining him to dance again to keep his place in the show.
It was much of the same for both the men as Dave once more stomped around the dancefloor in a kilt whilst making some strange faces and Mark donned the bald wig to sit in a chair and stroke a cat while his partner Iveta in a skin-tight catsuit did all the work.
After the dances were over it was time to see what the judges had made of the dances second time around. Craig, Darcey and Bruno all voted to save Mark but it was interesting that the words used referred to his dance ability whereas it is normally the dance they have just viewed that they discuss. Len then said that he disagreed with his fellow judges and would have voted to save Dave and although it is hard to say we would have saved Dave he did dance marginally better than he did last night and Mark’s few movements were strewn with mistakes.
