The Australian born model now spends most of her time in New York but is still a huge name in her home country. In fact the biggest seller of the new swimwear collection is the Australian online store for “bras N things” where there is a big selection available to purchase. These stylish swimwear items don’t come that cheap however as prices are in the A$150-190 range which means in British money it is going to cost around £100 per item.
Over the last few years Robyn has been a great spokesperson for promoting a positive body image for women. When she has faced a lot of criticism for working as a plus-sized model she has responded that she loves her body and is comfortable with her look. Keeping in mind that she is 6ft 2in tall and a size 12 we don’t really see where the description of plus-size comes from for Robyn.
Perhaps we should use the description that Romanian website Metropotam used for her instead as it sounds far better than the derogative term of plus-size. Who thinks that voluptoasa is a much better term for the curvy Robyn Lawley?
She certainly seems to be getting more than her share of work at the moment as in addition to the new swimwear range and accompanying promotional photoshoot she has also recently appeared topless in a feature for Galore magazine’s Girl Power edition. Outside of the fashion world she has also released a new cookbook called Robyn Lawley Eats – described as decadent dishes for friends and family.
Robyn is in her own words ” a self-confessed foodie.” Not only did she cook all of the dishes shown in her new book she also styled and photographed them as well. You can take a look at some of the dishes in the new cookbook by checking out Robyn’s special Tumblr site.
Quite how she finds the time we don’t know but Robyn also works as a DJ and has just been announced as the new brand ambassador of Pantene’s range of hair products.
