Jessica, who got married just over a month ago to former NFL star Eric Johnson, had been quite public about her battle to lose weight before her wedding. She was made the face of US Weight Watchers in May 2012 and the organisation must be delighted by their choice as for most of this summer Jessica has been seen showing off her newly reclaimed figure in a variety of swimwear.
The new perfume ad shows Jessica wearing a very low-cut pink dress decorated with beads and feathers. The dress shows off the singer’s very impressive cleavage and there are likely to be many people who don;t even spot that there is a bottle of perfume being advertised!
The new scent is called “Jessica Simpson’s The SIgnature Fragrance” and if it does as well as previous fragrances Jessica has marketed it should be a winner. Earlier this year Jessica’s range of perfumes (Fancy Love, Fancy Nights, I Fancy You and Vintage Bloom) were estimated to have a brand value of some $1 billion.
As well as her hugely successful perfume range Jessica also has a line of swimwear and lingerie called Jessica Simpson Intimates Collection. This is available online and at top stores such as Lord & Taylor and Nordstrom. With the range now extending to jeans, jeggings and footwear it looks like Jessica is turning out to be an extremely successful businesswoman.
It is perhaps no surprise that with the success of her fashion and fragrance lines as well as her tv appearances that Jessica has not released an album since 2010’s Happy Christmas.
If Jessica looks a lot different in the new fragrance ad then it is probably because she has lost around 50 pounds in order to get in top shape for her July wedding in Montecito, California.
Prior to today’s fragrance ad Jessica was last seen at a Hawaiian themed hen party she was hosting at her home for her sister Ashlee.
