Cameron Diaz Poses For Glamour Magazine and Talks Girl on Girl – the 41-year old actress is Glamour UK’s latest cover girl and talks inside the mag about her thoughts on British men and why she thinks all women have been attracted to another woman at one time or another.
Cameron is known for being someone who doesn’t take herself too seriously and it is little surprise that she is not in the least worried about getting older. She says that it is something of a myth that younger actresses get all the best parts and this seems more of a reflection on how they are actually being objectified and the roles they are being offered are not the really interesting, challenging ones. In fact Cameron says this is how it has always been in the movies.
She seems genuinely unworried about how she comes across either in interviews or in photos. In fact her actual words on this subject are ‘If I see a bad picture of myself in a magazine, I don’t give a shit. I’m, like, whatever. But it’s a funny thing being out in the world in the way that I am. You really have to keep yourself in check because it’s easy to lose your head.’
Cameron’s favourite turns on when looking for a man are: a sense of humour, politeness and not wearing too much cologne. It is a man’s ability to make her life that is the most important factor to her however and the good news for men in the UK is she says ‘I love British humour and British men.’
The most revealing part of the interview however os when she talks about her thoughts on other women. She says that she was brought up by her parents to not be jealous of anything anyone else had and this covers men and looks. She says that she loves women and when the mag pressed her further on the topic Cameron said:
‘I think women are beautiful – absolutely beautiful. And I think that all women have been sexually attracted to another woman at some point. It’s natural to have a connectivity and an appreciation for the beauty of other women.’
You can almost hear the Hollywood scriptwriters as they start knocking out a Black Swan style script with Cameron as the ballet teacher and draw up a list of potential Hollywood stars to play the young star opposite her.
