Kylie Is GQ Australia’s 15th Anniversary Issue Cover Girl – the ever youthful looking Miss Minogue has just returned to the UK after spending a few days back in her birthland to film the The Voice Australia with her fellow judge will.i.am.
It still seems hard to believe that Kylie is now 45-years old and even long-haul flights don’t seem to take their toll on her looks as you can see from this cover photo from GQ Australia’s special 15th Anniversary Issue.
There aren’t many 45-year olds who could pull off a sexy cover shot with a couple of good-looking 22-year old male models but there are no worries for Kylie with this photo session she took part in with Jordan and Zac Stenmark.
As well as the photos of Kylie with the 2 Stenmark twins she also has an in-depth interview with GQ about many aspects of her life, including her relationship with the late Michael Hutchence. There has been renewed focus on this of late in Australia where they have been watching the tv series INXS: Never Tear Us Apart, which heavily features the 2 years that Kylie was involved with the band’s lead singer.
Hutchence has always been credited with “sexing up” the young Kylie who until her time with him was seen more as Charlene from Neighbours than the sexy little pop princess that we think of today.
The interview does seem to give the answer mo a question that many have pondered over the years. ‘Michael was just so many firsts in my life … He was. Yes, he was.’
As well as being a popular choice of mentor for many of the young male singers on the show Kylie has also proved to be a big hit with the UK public. She is seen as being a huge factor in making The Voice the top rated show on UK television on a Saturday evening. So impressed are the BBC with the ‘Kylie Effect’ that they are said to have given her an extra £250k after ratings were up by 2m. They are also believed to have put together a deal which would see her get around £1m if she returns for next year’s series.
The special 15th Anniversary Issue of GQ Australia with more photos and the full interview with Kylie is available now.
