Although the new season is due to start in just 3 weeks time it seems that this was very recent news for the glamorous co-host of the show who said: ‘I’ve always been one to embrace change and looking forward to pursuing opportunities I previously wasn’t able to entertain because of contractual obligations to the show. I’ve seen my fair share of shocking eliminations in the ballroom but this one takes the cake.’
Brooke has co-hosted the show for the last 7 series since she became an audience favourite when she won the 7th series of the show when she was partnered by professional dancer Derek Hough.
It seems that the ousting of the popular presenter was very recent news to her as some reports suggested that she was actually only told of her departure a few hours before she released the news to the media.
It makes you wonder what is behind the decision as Brooke is not only popular with the show’s fans but has the benefit of being a previous winner of the show and is also extremely attractive. Let’s see who they have lined up to replace her on the show as she will have to be a very special lady indeed to improve on her predecessor. Looking at these hot photos here of Brooke you wonder just who the show’s producers have in mind to take her place.
Brooke’s departure is not the only change announced for DWTS as it was also revealed that Harold Wheeler, the show’s musical director, would also not be returning for the next series. He and his 18 piece band are to be replaced by Ray Chew.
We will have to wait until the 4th March to find out what celebrities will be taking part in the next series of the show when the full line-up is being announced during that day’s episode of Good Morning America.
One of the names being suggested as a possible competitor for DWTS this time round is the newly single Bruce Jenner who is likely to have more time available now his Kardashian tv commitments are removed from his schedule.
The new series of Dancing With The Stars will be airing live from 17 March.
