The successful fashion designer was then better known as Posh Spice from The Spice Girls and had yet to make her mark on the world of fashion. She has previously been suspected of going under the knife to increase her bust size shortly after having her son Brooklyn in 1999.
Even though she has now admitted to having the cosmetic surgery she still seems a little vague when pressed on the subject saying ‘I think I may have purchased them.’
The news comes as no surprise to anyone as the singer clearly had clearly increased her bust size overnight and according to several reports she went from a size 34A to a 34DD. No matter how good she is at designing outfits it is hard to make that much difference to your look.
While finally admitting to her earlier boob job Victoria also tells the mag that she soon changed her mind about the procedure and had the implants removed. Quite when and how might be debated by some as any number of photos clearly show a much bustier VB than once was the case.
Whether new breast implants were covered by warranty is not disclosed with her biographer Andrew Morton saying in his book that she paid £15k for the operation at a London clinic. If it is true then a “now you see them now you don’t” type scenario sounds a costly game to play.
As well as talking about her boob job Victoria also speaks to Allure about how much she enjoyed her time in America whilst her husband David was playing for Los Angeles Galaxy. The whole family moved out to the States in 2007 and Victoria was full of praise for how she was accepted as a woman with her own career.
‘Living in America for six years was the happiest I think I’ve ever been. I’m not saying I’m not happy now. I’m just as happy now’
Despite having a young family and running an ever-increasing fashion empire Victoria is still keen to find time to keep in shape and gets up at 6am to go for a 4 mile run every day.
VB tells Allure that one of her best beauty tips came via her friend Eva Longoria who suggested that rather than shave her legs she went for laser hair removal instead.
The interview follows a recent remark made during New York Fashion Week when she revealed that as well as considering a future line of footwear she was also considering introducing a line of mens fashion. No surprise there as she is married to one of the favourite UK models for mens fashion and underwear.
The latest edition of Allure with the full interview with Victoria Beckham is out on 25 February.
