Mad Men’s Jessica Paré In Sexy GQ Photo Feature – actress Jessica Paré is best known for her portrayal of Dan Draper’s wife and secretary Megan but is likely to win over some new fans with her sexy retro photos in this month’s GQ.
Canadian born Jessica has featured in a number of movies as well as in her Mad Men role with one big departure from her tv part coming with her appearance in the 2009 vampire comedy ‘Suck’.
Jessica is no stranger to photo sessions although her experience in the early years of her career came on the other side of the lens as she worked for a while at the end of the 90s as a photographer’s assistant.
Her big acting break came when she was chosen to star in the 2000 movie Stardom opposite Dan Ackroyd. Jessica had only auditioned for a bit part in the film but so impressed director Denys Arcand that he picked her as the film’s leading lady. In got the young actress a lot of press coverage in her native country and she was even voted one of Canada’s 25 Most Beautiful People despite being practically unknown before Stardom was released.
Jessica is a big music fan and 2012 she twice appeared on stage with Scottish rock group The Jesus and Mary Chain. She has also been dating Canadian musician John Kastner for several years. Kastner is currently a member of 3 bands Asexuals, Doughboys and All Systems Go! although he is probably still best known here as the manager of Canadian band Men Without Hats, who had a big hit in the 80s with their song The Safety Dance.
In her sexy new GQ photo feature Jessica doesn’t stray far from the Mad Men retro look. She is seen in one photo lying on a hotel room floor in a pair of high-waisted knickers and a silky see-through top. Another shot has the 33-year old actress showing off her long legs as she leans back against the curtains as she hitches up her skirt and poses in a pointed 50s style bra.
Quite what Jessica’s on-screen husband would make of her antics we don’t know. Jessica does talk in the GQ article about her relationship with actor Jon Hamm who plays her Mad Men husband Don Draper and says that despite the problems their characters have they both get on really well together. ‘I love every single second I spend on set. Jon Hamm is the ultimate. He’s gorgeous, super-talented and so solid.’
Jessica can be seen later this year in the rom-com movie Standby which also stars Brian Gleeson, who played Gus in the 2012 movie Snow White and the Huntsman.
You can see all of Jessica’s retro photos plus read her interview in full when the latest edition of GQ goes on sale this Thursday (6 February).
