There’s nothing like making the most of your good PR opportunities and Abbey Clancy certainly picked a good week for the launch of her first fashion range for the Matalan group of stores.
Abbey previously modelled a range of bikinis for the company and the response was so good to her photo campaign that it was estimated the model increased sales by around a third.
The new Abbey Clancy Matalan range is designed especially for wearing over the Christmas and New Year party season. It features a wide range of styles running from dresses that Abbey says her mother would approve of up to a much shorter dress length that it seems Abbey’s mum would be less keen on her daughter wearing!
The outfits come in many festive colours such as cobalt blues and reds and there are tuxedo jackets, leather skirts and bodycon dresses so there looks to be something for everyone in the new range.
Abbey made a great start to the new series of Strictly getting an amazing first week score of 32 points from the judges and installing herself as the early frontrunner in the race to lift this year’s glitterball trophy.
The model, presenter and WAG is partnered with Strictly new boy Alijaz Skorjanec and they certainly make for a handsome couple as they take to the dancefloor. As they say, in this partnership there is something for everyone to look at.
The new Abbey Clancy for Matalan range is available at all Matalan stores and via their online store from 7 October. It just goes to show that Christmas must be well on its way.
