The 39-year old Latino beauty wore a beautiful white blouse and fitted Jacquard skirt from her collection for the launch and accessorized with a necklace that she had also designed for the launch.
Eva has been working hard on the 55-piece collection for some months now and was determined to produce a stylish yet affordable range for “real women” of all shapes and sizes.
The Eva Mendes collection for New York & Company starts off with pieces costing as little as $24.95 (a camisole top) and even the most expensive item in the collection only costs $159.95, very good value we think for a Milano single buttoned coat in pale pink.
The accessories are even more reasonable in price with one of Eva’s favourite pieces, a brightly coloured scarf, costing just $20.
Eva said of her new collection: ‘there are days when I don’t feel great, but I put on my favourite dress and throw a scarf in my hair, and it makes all the difference.
‘Hopefully my line can do that for women. Even if you’re not feeling your best, let’s admit it, the right outfit – it helps.’
Having thoroughly enjoyed the evening of her first fashion collection launch Eva was up bright and early this morning to go on Good Morning America to talk about the new collection. She wore a simple but very stylish polka dot dress for the programme and carried her signature pale pink 1 button Milano coat.
