It seems that France is becoming an ever bigger part of Scarlett’s life as she has recently bought herself a stylish new apartment in one of the trendier districts of Paris. She is also going out with a Parisian, creative agency manager Romain Dauriac. Although they only publicly confirmed their relationship last month it is thought that they have been going out together for several months.
All of these factors together with her good looks and great sense of style seem to have endeared the actress to the French nation and Parisians in particular.
Certainly Vanity Fair’s Michel Denisot seems to be impressed by Scarlett’s French credentials saying of her at the launch of the new magazine ‘She has every quality imaginable… the elegance, beauty, wit and impertinence that would make her a perfectly decent Parisian if she decides to move permanently into the apartment she has bought in Paris not far from here.’
Scarlett has been seen in recent days filming new scenes for her new movie Captain America: The Winter Soldier, the second movie in the CA franchise. The movie, which also stars Chris Evans, is due to hit our screens in April next year.
The Vanity Fair cover and accompanying photos were shot by Mark Seliger, who is known for a number of great photos of singers and rock stars, taken throughout the 90’s when he was the chief photographer for Rolling Stone magazine. These days he is just as likely to be seen photographing models and actresses and is a regular for both Vanity Fair and GQ.
The inside feature (if your French is good enough!) is written by another Vanity Fair regular, Ingrid Sischy. This first issue of new French Vanity Fair is on sale from tomorrow 26 June.
