Former Baywatch star Pamela Anderson turned out in a plunge fronted short pink outfit that showed off her figure. She finished off her outfit by matching the dress with a pair of nude heels. Pammie is appearing after her stint on America’s Dancing With The All-Stars where she and partner Tristan MacManus were eliminated after the very first programme.
For her skating experience Pam has been paired with Matt Evers, who revealed in an interview last year that his dream partner would be Olympic heptathlete Jessica Ennis. Pamela seems to be enjoying the training for the programme and said of her partnership with Matt: ‘Our chemistry is really good and he’s been so patient. I love the choreography and the lifts but everything is so difficult, I’ve got bruises everywhere.’
One of Pam’s fellow competitor former TOWIE star Lauren Goodger turned up for today’s launch party in a bright turquoise tasselled dress which showed off her famously curvaceous figure.
Although not as curvy as either Pamela Anderson or Lauren Goodger someone else who impressed at today’s photocall was Coronation Street actress Samia Ghadie who showed off her trim figure by wearing a tiny gold leotard with see-through panel.
Samia may have gone a step further than many of the competitors on BBC’s Strictly Come Dancing where the show is famed for romances developing between the dancers and their professional partners. Samia’s professional skating partner Sylvain Longchambon is said to have already left his girlfriend Hollyoaks actress Jennifer Metcalfe after he is alleged to have developed ‘feelings’ for the 30-year Corrie actress.
Other competitors appearing on this year’s Dancing On Ice include Anthea Turner, Beth Tweddle, Oona King, Matt Lapinskas, Gareth Thomas and former X Factor winner Shayne Ward.
This year’s series has an additional twist for those skaters finding themselves at the bottom of the pile as they will have to perform a brand-new skating routine to survive in the competition.
The new series of Dancing On Ice starts on ITV1 at 6.25 this Sunday (06 January).
