The concept behind the site is you can buy everything online that a billionaire might need to enrich their lifestyle. Apparently it is not easy to find a one-stop shop if you are a billionaire and you have to waste time shopping for your yacht in one place, your penthouse somewhere else and then you still need to buy a yacht before you can relax.
With this in mind the Swedish team behind the online gambling site Mutilotto.com developed the new site TheBilionaireShop.Com as they felt that their big gambling winners didn’t have anywhere to spend their cash.
A spokesperson for the site said: ‘Luxury items and products are often hard to find and buy. At TheBillionairesShop.com, it’s the opposite: easy, available and curated. It serves as an inspiration to all people, not just billionaires, who love to dream big.’
In case you were wondering the sort of items available from the site include Aston Martin, Bugatti, McLaren, Mosler and Rolls Royce cars. If you are looking out for a yacht either for yourself or that special person in your life then you have the choice of craft from such companies as Leopard, Pershing, Mondomarine, Sunseeker and Royal Huisman. If your ambitions are based higher than this there are aircraft for sale from Boeing, Cessna, Embraer and Gulfstream. For those with a helicopter license then you are not being left out as there are models from Agusta, Bell and Sikorsky.
So far it seems that the most popular items on the site are the luxury yachts with the private jets coming in a close second. We are not sure if the popularity is those buying or just us mere mortals who are ‘window-shopping.’ Our money is on the window-shopping option as just for example the Athena sailing yacht from Royal Huisman will set you back a cool £44m ($72.15m). The Athena is shown here and just in case you have the cash kicking around it is 90m long and under full sail it can reach speeds of up to 19 knots
She was talking to Shape about how pleased she was that Playboy asked her to be on one of this year’s magazine covers despite the fact that she was nearly 40-years old at the time. She is also delighted that Shape themselves chose her to be this month’s cover girl.
“This is my second time doing Shape. I feel really honored because I’m turning 40 next week. And if they asked me to be on the cover, that means I’m doing something right. I get to work out about five days a week and I really change it because I would lose my mind if I did the same thing over and over again. If I only have two minutes, I have a go to workout and that is lunges, sit-ups and push- ups.”
