Cameron Diaz Poses For Esquire – the actress has recently celebrated her 40th birthday but says that she is now more comfortable with her body than when she first hit the big time in her early twenties.
Diaz has posed for a set of photos which show her revealing plenty of cleavage as well as wearing a black corset, stockings and a set of stratospheric heels.
The photos were shot by US celebrity fashion photographer Terry Richardson who has taken photos of many stars stripped down to their underwear. One of his recent photo shoots featured some revealing pictures of the Sports Illustrated model Kate Upton in the American edition of GQ.
Cameron’s first movie breakthrough came when she played the object of Jim Carrey’s desires in the 1994 hit The Mask. although this was her first major role she did make an appearance 2 years earlier in the soft core bondage short She’s No Angel where she was credited as “naked girl.”
As well as her photos Esquire also contains an interview with Diaz where she answers a number of questions on the subject of her career, men, marriage and the possibility of having children.
She is clearly not worried about getting older despite being in an industry which is famously harsh on anyone, but especially women, who show too many signs of ageing. Diaz says: “For the first time in my life I’m content. I’m so excited. Getting older is the best part of life. Like, I know more than I’ve ever known. I have gratitude. I know myself better. I feel more capable than ever. And as far as the physicality of it, I feel better at 40 than I did at 25.”
She is known for having had relationships with a string of famous men including Matt Dillon, Justin Timberlake, Jared Leto and New York Yankees baseball star Alex Rodriguez. Most recently Cameron was linked with newly single Tom Cruise although she quickly denied any romance saying that they were “just good friends.”
Diaz has appeared this year as Jules in the US rom-com What To Expect When You’re Expecting which follows the trials and tribulations of 5 different Atlanta couples going through pregnancy. In her interview Diaz talks about how she has still not given up on the idea of having a family but hints that she does not rule out either adoption or surrogacy.
As far as the famously toned Diaz body goes Cameron says that she has not had any surgical help but puts her looks down to regular sessions of pilates and yoga.
You can see the full set of photos and the interview in the November edition of Esquire which goes on sale tomorrow (04 October).
