The new advertising campaign features a set of moody black and white photographs shot by photographer Alasdair McLellan.
The 37-year old photographer reveals that he had to do nothing special to look that good in his boxers as he remains in naturally good shape. becks says that he has no problem stripping off for the camera which is no surprise as he is in such great shape. He said: “I did nothing different. I’m naturally fit of course as an athlete so there is nothing out of the ordinary I do!”
As well as the b&w photo campaign there are also a series of statue stunts planned for New York, LA and San Francisco which will show giant Beckham statues wearing the new H&M range.
The Bodywear range has been running for some months now and has proved to be very successful with men buying items in the hope they will look like Becks in his undies and women buying the range for their men hoping for the same.
The footballer said: “I’m very happy that so far people seem to like it and the first season was incredibly successful. The challenge is to keep it going and establish a brand that will last many years. That is my ambition.”
“It’s important to me that Bodywear means more than just briefs and Ts. It’s about all the pieces I like.”
Becks released the new photos this morning via his own Facebook page saying: ‘Hey everyone, here are a few shots from my new Bodywear range for H&M. Hope you like them.’
Shortly after releasing the photos the LA Galaxy player had plenty of complimentary comments on the site.
With wife Victoria doing so well with her range of designer clothing you can certainly say that the Beckham home is truly a fashion house.
