According to The Sun Una has secured a 6 figure sum for exclusive rights to her big day. As part of the deal she is not allowed to discuss the wedding with any other publication so it is not even known what date the wedding will be held on.
30-year old Una will be marrying 26-year old rugby star Ben Foden and although nobody knows when it is going to happen there are 2 strong contenders for venues for their wedding day. The ceremony seems likely to be held at Hollycross Abbey with smart money for a reception venue going on Kilshane House in Tipperary.
One thing for sure about the day is that the couple’s 1-month old child Alice Belle will be there for the wedding.
We wonder if the deal has been sweetened in the hope that Una’s band mate Mollie might bring along Prince Harry as her date?
The director will have all of his surviving movies shown including premieres of a number of restored early silent films.
One highlight is likely to be the showing of his film Blackmail in the grounds of the British Museum. The film features an exciting chase which was actually filmed at the British Museum.
Another high spot of the Hitchcock celebration will be the appearance of actress Tippi Hedren who starred in the Hitchcock classic The Birds. She has spoken before about his unusual working arrangements and how she believes Hitchcock was obsessed with her.
One other film getting a rare showing is The Ring an early silent film set in the world of boxing. This has been cited by the director of Oscar-winning film The Artist as his inspiration.
The celebration of Hitchcock’s work is called The Genius of Hitchcock and runs at several London venues from June to October.
