She was shocked by how much she was able to change her body and says it is all down to strength of mind. June Brown – Eastenders longtime favourite June stars as Dot Cotton in case you have been on another planet since 1985. She is appearing tonight on BBC family history programme “Who Do You Think You Are”. She is at 84 the oldest person to appear on the programme and is to be seen looking into her Jewish background, finding relatives who lived in Algeria and even a famous bare-knuckle boxing champion. As well as being the oldest person to appear on WDYTYA she was also the oldest ever person to take part in Strictly Come Dancing when she appeared on the programme in 2010’s Christmas Special partnered by Vincent Simone and danced the tango.She holds another tv record for her performance on Eastenders back in January 2008 when she became the first (and so far only) actress to carry an episode entirely on her own.
Sue Sylvester – the character of Sue Sylvester in the tv programme “Glee” is played by actress Jane Lynch. Those hoping to see the scheming coach of the group’s rival cheerleaders will be disappointed. As well as Rachel, Kurt and Finn not having a part in the new Glee movie it appears that there is also no room for Sue Sylvester now. “Glee : The 3D Concert Movie” is released in UK cinemas on the 19th August. The new tv series is due to be seen on Sky 1 this autumn. It is a surprising omission to leave out the cheerleading coach as several critics have rated her controversial character as the best reason to watch the series.
